Building The Right Thing

Balancing Human Judgment with AI Speed To Create Breakthrough Products & Experiences

The Problem

When the cost of building goes to zero, competition explodes.

For years, the industry has used Design Sprints to reduce uncertainty before building.

Today, the time and cost to build software is approaching zero. Even hardware is getting increasingly faster and less expensive to build. Competition is exploding.

The hard part is no longer how to build. It's deciding what to build and how to stand out.

When anyone can spin up a product in a weekend, you can't just set AI agents loose and hope for the best.

To actually stand out, you need opinionated, informed, and creative human teams.

03

The Approach

Design Sprints rebuilt for the AI era.

What it is:
A structured way to get teams to crisper, better, differentiated perspectives on what to build next.

How it works:
Leave behind the old stickie notes and brainstorms.

As a facilitator and an AI builder, I'll lead your team through a systematic, 3-stage creative flow that balances the intuition, creativity, and understanding of your team with the amplifying power of custom-built AI tools tailored to the sprint.

04

Part 1 - The Anchor

Get clear on what you know to be true.

Before you build, you need to align on the right problem.

You will break down complex, diverging opinions into concrete, shared hypotheses about your customer, your market, and the problem you are uniquely suited to solve.

You'll then leverage a hybrid of human and AI-led interviews to achieve a balance of depth and scale. Custom dashboards built for the sprint analyze results to reveal patterns and opportunities.

Result: A unified and validated foundation of the problem to solve and clear understanding of what solving it looks like. You'll stop debating about opinions and start testing beliefs.

05

Part 2 - The Opportunity

Systematically map out the solution space

Traditional brainstorms and standard AI prompts both do the same thing: they reach for the most accessible, average answers. Your team deserves better.

Instead, you'll break the challenge down into its core components: the desired outcome, the strategy, and the specific solution. You'll then employ a Systems Thinking approach to exhaustively map out the opportunity space.

The creativity of your team will be elevated further with custom AI tools built to rapidly inspire solutions at the "far edges" of the map.

Result: A robust portfolio of diverse, unexpected ideas across a wide spectrum of attributes.

06

Part 3 - The Clarity

Turn ideas into reality. Fast.

You'll take the winning opportunities and bring them to life instantly. Using rapid AI prototyping and video, we'll help you create real, high-fidelity artifacts: clickable interfaces, functional workflows, and narrative videos - in hours, not months.

Then, you'll immediately put these assets to the test to validate the direction before you write a single line of production code.

Result: You walk away with a crystal-clear product story backed by hard evidence. Your entire team leaves fully aligned on exactly what to ship next, with the confidence that the concept is completely de-risked.

Case Study

De-Risking a 0-to-1 Hardware Launch

Situation

An audio software company needed to define the core value proposition for a net-new dedicated hardware device. Before committing to engineering and production, they needed to separate internal assumptions from actual market reality and willingness-to-pay.

Approach:

Two-Week Anchor Sprint

Goal

Sharpen the product value proposition by validating critical underlying hypotheses and uncovering hidden consumer purchase blockers.

What We Did

#1 Hypothesis Audit: Facilitated a workshop to extract and prioritize the team's critical assumptions by uncertainty vs. impact.

#2 Mixed-Methodology Study: Engaged nearly 900 target customers in 2 weeks:

  • Scale: 800+ deployed surveys to establish quantitative baselines.
  • Depth: 10+ expert-led live interviews for qualitative nuance.
  • Hybrid: 50+ AI-led interviews using a custom "AI researcher" to achieve qualitative depth at massive scale.

#3 Synthesis: Delivered a custom dashboard that synthesized all data to reveal clear trends, contradictions, and actionable insights.

Outcome:

#1 Sharpened the core value proposition based on market-tested evidence, not internal debate.

#2 Prevented wasteful engineering costs by eliminating features tied to false assumptions.

#3 Identified specific purchase blockers and a strict price ceiling, completely de-risking the product roadmap.
